What are the CrocZ?
The CrocZ are a collection of 5,555 unique and randomly generated non-fungible tokens (NFTs) which came to life in early November, 2021. The 64x64 pixel art previews have been received extremely well by the wider community, which is truly heart-warming. We love seeing everyone rocking the CrocZ!
CrocZ will be available to mint on December 18th (Public sale on December 19th) at a price of 0.055 ETH and will be stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain; metadata to be hosted by IPFS.
What have we achieved thus far?
We are extremely proud and overwhelmed by the organic growth we’ve experienced in just the first week of our project being public! Our most notable achievements thus far are:
- 6,000+ Twitter followers, 30,000+ Discord members with no paid promotion or collaborations
- Over 1,000 fan art submissions in discord, many of which have received whitelist role for their creativity and dedication!
- 300,000+ messages sent in the general chat alone
What utility will the CrocZ possess?
If you aren’t yet aware, CrocZ will yield the holder our native $Swamp token. The token will have no liquidity pair (can’t be swapped), but will provide endless value to our holders in the form of seemingly endless utility. Utility we’ve confirmed so far is as follows:
- Each and every “genesis” Croc will generate 10 $Swamp per day. There is no gas fee for staking, only to claim your tokens after you’ve reached the desired amount.
- Breed a baby croc by holding two genesis CrocZ’ and burning 500 $Swamp (babies will generate 5 $swamp per day)
- You may reroll the baby once within 24 hours of minting by burning the NFT alongside 125 $Swamp
- Purchase our “Predator Pass” using $Swamp, unlocking an area within discord for exclusive alpha calls, whitelist giveaways and more!
- We’ll be opening an alpha channel exclusively for holders after launch, which will give a small taste of the “Predator Pass” channels
- Use $Swamp to purchase limited merch from our token shop as well as many other goodies down the line
- Use 100 $Swamp to claim a “metaverse-ready” voxel version of your CrocZ’
Roadmap phases (post mint)
Phase 1: 1 $Swamp = 1 $Swamp
Our native $Swamp token will begin generation a week after the public sale. This is to ensure all CrocZ’ are on a level playing field from the beginning.
There are no gas fees to initialise staking your Croc either, but you will pay a gas fee to claim your $Swamp tokens once they’ve reached your desired amount.
In addition, The $Swamp token will have no liquidity pair, the team will strive to ensure we’re consistently providing value to the token in the form of seemingly endless utility, as outlined above.
Phase 2: Baby CrocZ’ enter the $Swamp
As mentioned previously, you will be able to breed your genesis CrocZ’ to create a baby if you hold at least two CrocZ’ and burn 500 $Swamp tokens.
If you don’t like your resulted baby, you may reroll once for 125 $Swamp within 24 hours of breeding.
The total supply of baby CrocZ’ will be 2556, they will also produce $Swamp, but half as much as their genesis parents.
Phase 3: Spend your $Swamp
As mentioned previously, one of the uses for $Swamp tokens is being able to swap them for exclusive goodies in our token shop. Most notably, our “Predator pass,” will be 1 of 500 exclusive tickets to an alpha group within our discord, which will provide calls, whitelist giveaways, exclusive benefits and important information from well respected members of the NFT community (only one “Predator Pass” may be claimed per wallet).
Phase 4: Enter the metaverse
After the public sale, the CrocZ’ team will begin buying land to secure our spot in the metaverse. In addition, we will be hiring an experienced team of developers to assist in the sandbox process. We believe the metaverse to be a huge prospect in the near future, which is why it will be a big focus for our project and team.
A Voxel/VX collection will be available early next year for CrocZ’ holders. As mentioned above, these Voxel versions will be claimable via $Swamp in the token shop, but they will not require much at all. We will also consider the prospect of an entirely free claim for holders.
